Thai Pilot Career Path

After completion of flight training, and gaining employment with an airline, you would be hired in a position called First Officer.  After flying for the company for several years you will meet the qualifications to be a Captain.  It will require additional testing to qualify, but the average airline captain in Asia makes between US$8,000 (247,000 THB) and US$20,000 (625,280 THB) per month income.

Thailand Student Pilot Training Requirements

To qualify for AeroGuard’s commercial pilot training program the following requirements must be met:

  • Must meet the FAA medical standards able to obtain a Class 1 Medical
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English International Civil Aviation Organization (“ICAO”) English level 4
  • Must have a valid Passport
  • Must be eligible for a student visa in the United States
